- External Integrations must be enabled and your account must have integration access.
Steps
Find the connected system
Open External Integrations at /app/int/overview and inspect Connected systems. Add connection opens the catalog at /app/int/catalog; a catalog card alone does not mean the system is connected.
Expected result: The intended connection is present, or you know setup is still required.
Read the connection details
Open the system’s detail page. SQL Accounting has Overview, Product inventory, Document status and Workflow sections. Check connection state and the last sync time. That detail page is read-only; it is not a form for creating accounting documents.
Expected result: You understand which records are available and how recently they were updated.
Use sync logs to investigate
Open Sync logs at /app/int/logs and choose Refresh status to read the current result. This button refreshes status; it does not force the external provider to run a new sync. Record the system, time and error when asking for help.
Expected result: You can identify the latest result or error for that connection.

Confirm a write capability separately
Some conversation workflows can create an external customer or quotation only when that connection explicitly enables the capability and the user is authorized. Read-only connection success does not enable those actions. Sales-order conversion, invoice conversion and payment-status writes are outside that customer/quotation writeback contract.
Expected result: You rely only on the actions actually enabled and supported for the current connection.
